Have you ever wondered what's inside adult paysites?

In this post I will take a look inside the members area of Karup’s Hometown Amateurs. If you’d like to get a better feel for the site prior to reading my review then click here to visit it.

The Site

Karup’s Hometown Amateurs has been around since 2002 and in that time I’ve been a member on and off numerous times. In my opinion, over the past few years they have not been keeping up with the latest technology trends especially when it pertains to the way they present their videos. This however appears to be changing as the latest videos are offered in HD quality and presented via streaming flash.

The majority of girls featured inside Hometown Amateurs are natural girl-next-door types between the ages of 18-25.

There is a ton of content inside. From my quick math I could see…

over 2100 solo video scenes
over 500 hardcore video scenes
over 6000 solo photo sets
over 1000 hardcore photo sets

One thing you will not find inside is lesbian content. I never encountered a single lesbian photo set or video the whole time I surfed the site. Something to keep in mind for those of you that want lesbian stuff.

The Look Inside

After entering my username and password, I was taken to the main members area page which you can see on the left.

At the top, on the left side, is a tab menu linking to all the different categories like “athletic amateurs”, “hardcore movies”, “model index”, etc. On the right is a message from the owners and two ads to their other sites.

Underneath the top section is “bonus content” which are full photo sets from other similar sites that they partner with. This section is updated every 2-3 days and is not archived.

Scrolling down, you can see the 40 latest photo updates and 20 latest video updates.

Overall, it’s a nice and clean page that allows members to easily find the latest updates.

One thing that I noticed since the last time I was inside is that their navigation has improved. They’ve added little things like linking to the model’s page from the photo galleries (where you can find all the content featuring her). This sort of thing does make a difference.

Hometown Amateurs has a basic search engine where you can filter by stuff like clothing (cheerleader, jeans, lingerie, school girl, etc.). My overall impression of the site design/navigation is that it’s clean and fairly simple to get around. However, I have seen better navigational options on other sites but I have also seen much worse.

The Updates

Hometown Amateurs does not update every day. In fact their update schedule is a little weird but I’ll do my best to explain it here.

For photo sets, the updates look like this: day #1 – 3 photo sets added, day #2 – 3 photo sets added, day #3 – no update, day #4 – 3 photo sets added, day #5 – 3 photo sets added, day #6 – no update.

For video scenes, it appears more random. On some days there are 2 videos added, other days there’s only 1, and sometimes there are two days in a row with no new videos posted.

Basically, on a weekly basis you can expect 15 new photo sets and around 8 new video scenes to be added.

Now that I’ve talked about the site, let me dive into the content and let you know what kind of quality you can expect…

The Photos

After I selected a photo update and clicked the thumb, this is what the gallery page looked like…

As you can see it’s a very clean and easy to navigate gallery with 15 thumbs on each page (this is a little annoying as I would prefer more thumbs per page). You can also download the full set via zip file.

Members have the option of viewing photos in either 680×1024 “low-res” (sample here) or 1000×1500 “high-res” (sample here). Obviously, I vastly preferred the high-res photos. (fyi: photo sets prior to 2007 only feature the low-res photos).

For a site that specializes in photos like Karup’s Hometown Amateurs does, I would like to see even bigger photos available. Although, the high-resolution photos are just good enough, they also could be more crisp on a consistent basis (Hometown Amateurs employs a large amount of photographers so you could see why consistency may be hard to achieve).

The Videos

After selecting a recent video update, this is the page that was presented in front of me…

Each recent video page has a streaming full-length flash video on top (720×425 in size), downloadable WMV clips in the middle, and a link to download the full-length WMV file at the bottom.

The quality of the streaming flash was decent. It wasn’t as crisp as some other sites I’ve been in but the quality did suit the “girl-next-door” theme of the site. The video load times were pretty fast.

Here is the what the WMV format looked like after I downloaded it…

I enjoyed the WMV format more than the flash.The main reason for this is that the WMV video was bigger yet it was much more crisp. Overall, there is nothing I can complain about when it comes to the quality of  WMV format.

One thing for you to keep in mind is that only videos posted after May 2009, feature this HD quality format (and streaming flash for the most part). Videos prior to May 2009 feature a WMV format that’s about 1/2 the size of the one I posted above.

My video quality score for Hometown Amateurs is based mostly on the HD quality videos that they are now updating with these days.

The Extras

There are two main extras for members of Hometown Amateurs…

1. Bonus Photo Content – I touched on this earlier but I’ll explain it in greater detail here. These are non-archived full photo galleries of models from other similar sites. A new set is posted every 2-3 days.
2. Video Feeds – these are streaming (non-downloadable) videos. The Viv Thomas one was pretty good but the others were far too tiny (and aged).

Membership Details

Pricing: $29.90 for 30 days, $59.95 for 90 days.

Ease of Canceling: Click the “members support” text link found on the bottom of each page which will take you to their support page. Then select #15, click on “online cancellation form” which will take you to the form where you can input your info and cancel.

Final Thoughts

Karup’s Hometown Amateurs has a ton of exclusive content. It is really one of the bigger sites in terms of quantity. Very few sites that focus on the “girl-next-door” niche can match Hometown Amateurs’ content count. The latest HD videos bring Hometown Amateurs quality up to today’s standards.

That being said, the quality of both the photos and videos isn’t as good as what some other sites offer. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad by any means, but I have seen better.  I really would like them to feature higher high-resolution photos.

In closing, I will say that if you like natural girl-next-door content then Hometown Amateurs should be on your hit list. It’s a site that will leave you with the feeling that you got you money’s worth simply because of the amount of content it has.

In this review I will be looking inside a site with a slick design called Teen Models. It promises high quality content of 18-25 year old models. Click here if you’d like to visit the site prior to reading my review to get a better feel for it.

The Site

I found out about Teen Models only a month ago. What caught my eye was the high-resolution photo samples that I came across which featured stunningly hot young babes.  I was eager to get inside to do this review and see if the Teen Models members area lived up to those samples. Let’s get on with it, shall we?

The Look Inside

After entering my username and password, I was taken to the main members area page which I screencapped on the left.

First impression: NO ADS!

Second impression: very clean and modern design.

Third impression: very hot models!

Let me rundown what this page features.

At the very top are navigation tabs. I used these the most to get around the site.

Underneath the tabs, are thumbs linking to the top rated videos and models.

Scrolling further down are 4 big thumbs linking to the 4 latest photo sets. In my humble opinion this should be at the very top because I don’t quite see the point of having to scroll all the way down to see the latest updates.

Overall, I don’t see much use for the main page. I just used the tabs at the top to get around. I’ll get further into this later on.

Regarding the content, this is not a “girl next door” type of site. The models are all hot, they are all dolled up and they are all shot professionally. It’s a glam 18+ teen site. Still, for the most part, the models are all natural (talking about plastic surgery and boob enhancements). Those of you that prefer the amateur “girl next door” look should probably look elsewhere.

Regarding the update schedule, there is one new photo set added every single day and one new video added every 2-3 days. So members get fresh content daily.

There is a “sneak peek” section where you can preview updates for the upcoming month. I always like when sites do this because it lets members know what to expect.

Now that we have covered the basics, let me get back to the navigation. This top tab that’s found at the top of every page is all you need to get around.

Honestly, there are some minor annoyances when it comes to the navigation. One example is when you click on “photos” you get taken to a list of the “most popular” sets instead of, what I would like, a list of the latest sets. You only get to the list of latest sets after you click “All Galleries” in the sub-menu. To me that’s just pointless double-clicking since I’m sure most members want to access the latest photos rather than seeing the same “top rated” ones again and again.

Now that I’ve vented about that, lol, let me dive into the content…

The Updates

As of this writing Teen Models has around 150 models. The amount of content per model varies. I saw one model with 0 photos and 1 video, while another model had 4141 photos and 8 videos. Even trying to determine an average from just looking around was hard because it does vary so much.

Anyway, I chose the beautiful “Lola” who had a higher-than-average amount of content posted and this is what her model’s page looked like…

There’s a trailer clip that’s about 1-minute in length and basically just previews the model’s videos. Underneath the trailer, you get info about the model like height, bra-size, hometown, interests, etc. In this section you can rate the model and request more content of her to be featured in the future.

Right underneath the model’s name is a little menu where you can navigate to her photos and videos. Another option is “Interview” and when I clicked that it brought me to a quick Q&A…

Nice extra that adds a personal aspect to the site.

Back to the model’s page, when you scroll down you see preview thumbs for all her photo sets and underneath those you get preview thumbs for all her videos. At the bottom of the page are member comments. In fact, most of the content pages feature a section for members to share their thoughts.

The Photos

From the model’s page I selected one of Lola’s photo sets and when I clicked the thumb I was taken to this page…

It contains a place where you can rate the gallery, download zip files, view a couple samples and a link to the actual gallery. I find this page pointless. I would much rather go straight to the gallery. After clicking the “view html gallery” tab, I was taken to…

…the gallery page. It contains 50 thumbs and has navigational links at the top and bottom to more pages. At the very top of this page are the same options that were available on the previous page (further illustrating why the previous page is pointless).

When you click a thumb on the gallery page it pops it up the full size picture in the browser. (This sort of navigation is either java based or flash bashed, I’m not 100% sure which one it’s based on). Anyway, it looks like this…

I don’t like it. The image isn’t crisp, nor is it large. But fear not, because under every thumb there are 3 other options for viewing the full-size photo…

The full-size 800 px photo looks like this (blah). The 1600 px photo looks like this (much better). The 3000 px photo looks like this (hell yeah!).

I’m sure by now you know what I would advise you to do… view the photos by either the 1600 or 3000 resolution. Here are some more 2000×3000 photo samples for you… [sample 1] [sample 2]

Overall, the navigation left a lot to be desired but you cannot question the quality of the full-size photos. They are very nice.

The Videos

When I selected a video from the model’s page it took me straight to the streaming flash page…

One word describes this video: WOW! The colors are vibrant and the video is smooth and crisp. The size is massive at 960×540. I was really impressed with not only the quality but also the way the video was shot. This is good stuff guys.

Underneath the streaming flash video are the download formats available…

I downloaded the WMV HD video and it looked like this on my desktop…

Massive! The quality was really good, although I will say that the streaming flash video was more crisp. However, if you make your video player a bit smaller you can achieve the same level of crispness.

Overall, the videos inside Teen Models are stunning and a must-see for those that like the 18+ teen glam type of content.

The Extras

There are many free extras for Teen Models members.

Here is a quick rundown…

1) Model Interviews – As of this writing there are 27 video interviews with some of the models. Very cool bonus for members to get a more personal view of the models.

2) Hardcore Videos – Clicking the “naughty” tab in the navigational menu brings you to a page with hardcore videos. New videos are added to this section every 1-2 days and feature 8-15 minute streaming flash clips (640×380 in size). You can also download the clips in WMV format (including the same massive HD format I mentioned above).

3) Bonus Hardcore Sites – There are quite a few bonus sites that members can access for free. The sites cover all niches (18+ teen, ebony, big tits, asian, indian, anal, lesbian, reality porn, and even tranny). In total there are 29 sites  you can access for free. I had a quick look around and most of them are updated on a weekly or bi-weekly basis (at least going by update dates, they may just be recycling old content though). I was able to download movies without a problem and they were alright. Nothing that blew me away by any means. Some were better than others in terms of quality and freshness but you can’t beat the price (free).

4) Solo Girl Sites – members also get access to 8 solo girl sites including my favorite of the bunch, Dream Kelly. I had a quick look around and I don’t think any of these sites are updated anymore but they still have all the archived content for you to browse through.

5) Streaming Video Feeds – There are 8 reality porn video feeds which cover different niches. All hardcore. You can only stream videos found in these feeds (not download them).

Membership Details

Pricing: $29.99 for 30 days, $59.99 for 90 days

Ease of Canceling: Clicking the “support” text link found at the top of every page takes you to their support center. From there you need to click on the “How do I cancel my membership?” text link which will gives you details on how to cancel based on which payment processor you joined with and what type of payment you used.

Final Thoughts

My favorite things here are the videos. They are large, vibrant and really appeal to me. The high-resolution photos are also quite nice despite the navigational annoyances I encountered getting to them.

There are a few things that you should consider before you decide to join Teen Models…

1. The site only features 150 models and the quantity of content per model varies.
2. If you are into amateur style content then Teen Models will not appeal to you as it solely consists of dolled up young babes.
3. The main content that the site is based around does not include hardcore male/female sex scenes. The models only do solo/dildo/lesbian scenes.

In closing, if you are into glam 18+ young babes with natural bodies and great attitudes then you definitely should consider giving Teen Models a try. Those that like this type of content should be left satisfied.

Today I take a look inside the members area of Nubiles. Click here to visit the site to get a better feel for what it’s all about.

The Site

Nubiles has been around for a long time (since March 2004) and they are known for one thing: fresh young models. Their content is very unique featuring bright lights and fresh models. Their members area contains over 400,000 photos and over 3500 movies. Everything is exclusive which means it was specifically shot for Nubiles. Below you’ll find my thoughts on their members area.

The Look Inside

After entering my username and password I was taken to the main members area page.On the left is a screenshot of what it looked like.

My initial impression of the main page was that it’s very clean and straightforward. Even though it’s clean, there are lots of different options that are presented to you upon enterting.

At the top is a menu of tabs where you can select different options like “model directory”, “hardcore girls”, “message board”, etc. In total there are 21 different tabs, a drop-down menu featuring every girls name. Plus there are the letters of the alphabet which when clicked take you to a  thumb preview page featuring every model whose name starts with that letter.

Underneath the menu is a welcome message from the owners of the site with details of the latest updates. Following the message are 3 small 150×70 button ads that link off to other sites.

The next section is a thumb preview of upcoming updates. There are 12 total preview pics and if you click the “all upcoming updates” text link underneath you get taken to a larger page. I visited the site on February 8th, and there were preview thumbs for updates up to March 1st available. I thought this was a nice touch that keeps members in the loop as far as what they can expect to see in the coming weeks.

The next section is called “Recently Added” and features preview pics of recent updates that link to the content.

After that, the next section is called “Recent Models” and each preview pic links to the model’s page where all her content is featured.

So as you can imagine there is lots of different ways to navigate the Nubiles members area.  Besides searching by recent updates or model names, you can also use their search engine. There you can select specific attributes for a variety of different things (for example under “pussy” you can select “shaved”, “landing strip”, or “hairy” –  under “location” you can select specific countries).  You can also select different outfits (like bikini, high heels, etc.), different actions (like masturbation, up-skirt, hardcore, etc.). The engine will spit out all updates that match whatever criteria you have selected. Overall, I found their search engine to be one of the better and more in-depth members area engines I’ve encountered.

Before I dive into the content let me tell you a bit more about their update schedule and how often new content can be expected.

There are three new girls added every week with updates featuring these girls posted throughout the week. From what I can see there are usually between 4-6 different updates posted daily (2-3 videos and 2-3 photo sets). I absolutely love the way they schedule their updates as it’s not overwhelming yet gives members a solid fix of daily content.

Okay, I’m now about to dive into the content and I’ll have to warn you that there is a tonne of stuff to go through so make sure you have the time. I think you’ll find Nubiles more than delivers in both quality and quantity.

Ready… 1… 2… 3… and here we go…

The Updates

I am going to show you the updates by navigating via the model page. I’ve selected the lovely Tiffany Taylor off the main area and was taken to her page which looked like this…

This page gives you some information on the model like her age, height, body size, and location. From here you can do two things before diving into her content…

1) Send her a private message. Because Nubiles shoots their own exclusive content, I assume that they have developed  relationships with their photographers. This allows them to set up message board accounts for the girls they feature and the info gets passed on to the models. Because girls are always curious what people are saying about them, many will log-on and view their fan mail. This is a great idea on Nubiles’ part which makes their site more personal for members.

2) Read her biography. This is an in-depth Q&A with the model where she answers 30-40 questions which I assume are presented to her as a questionnaire before or after her shoot. The questions range from personal (what is your dream occupation?) to sexual (do you like to give head?) and everything in between. I found myself  enjoying the biographies as much as the content itself. Another fantastic extra that makes Nubiles personal and gives it more depth.

The Photos

After all the model you info, the model page gives you preview thumbs of the photo sets. After selecting one you are taken to the gallery page…

The gallery page feature 25 thumbs and you navigate to page 2, 3, 4, etc. (I wish there was an option where you could see all the thumbs on one page). (Edit: I was told that if you click the “settings” or “my profile” text link, you can set the number of thumbs you want displayed, and indeed it worked. Now all the thumbs are displayed on one page, solid!) Each thumb links to a full-size photo. The full size pics are 800×1200. [ click here for a full-size photo sample ] Nothing wrong with that photo quality, right? But hold on one sec…

There is also a text link in the upper-right corner that says “switch to large pics”. Clicking on that switches the gallery to link to full-size photos that are 1600×2400. [ click here for a full-size "large pic" photo sample ]

How awesome is that quality? I loved it so much that I just had to find out how many sets feature this quality. So I went deep into the archive and found out that every single photo set after January 2006 has the “large pics” option. Love it. It’s awesome. (Edit: you can switch the default in the settings menu to automatically link to the “large pics”.)

You can download each photo set in zip format (zips are available for both regular full-size and the large pics full-size).

In addition to all that, there are some photo “extras” for each girl. There are 4-5 “”mega-sized” photos that are 2800×4200. [ click here for a mega-size sample ] Stunning, no? Then there are a couple of wallpapers like this.

Overall, I simply love the photo content at Nubiles. Of the sites I’ve been inside, I would say that it is my favorite in terms of photos.

The Videos

At the bottom of the model page are links to her videos. Each model has 4-5 videos (each between 10-25 minutes in length). Here are the options which are available to you for each video…

When I selected “Stream Flash Video” I was taken to the streaming flash page…

The video played in an instant and looked very crisp and clean. The size of the streaming video was 640×380 which isn’t the biggest I’ve seen but it still ranks very high in terms of quality.

When I clicked on an MPG video it popped up in my media player and looked like this…

Again, it loaded ultra fast and played smoothly. The picture quality was crisp and clean. The size was 480×350.

(Edit: In my original review,  I did not view the full-length WMV video, after seeing the quality of it, I added an extra point to the “video quality” score.)

When I clicked on the full-length WMV video and this is how it looked on my desktop…

It was massive and it was smooth, crisp and just all-around awesome. I wish they offered this quality for individual clips rather than just the full-length video but what is there to complain about when you get this kind of quality?

In addition to MPG and FLASH, you can also view the videos in AVI and MP4 (for iphones, ipods) formats.

My impression of the video content is that it’s done very well. I really liked the fact that they add 4-5 different videos per model and they are all added in a one-week time span. While other sites offer a variety of videos for each model, sometimes it takes them months between updates to feature the same girl. Nubiles bangs them out fast and moves on to the next one.

I also have nothing to complain about when it comes to the quality of the videos presented. While I have seen bigger, the quality at Nubiles is top-notch and the load times are blazing fast.

The Extras

I have already touched on some of the extras offered like the model Q&A biographies, previews of upcoming updates, and the great search engine but  here are some other features that add to the Nubiles user experience:

1) There is also a  fairly active message board where members have discussions about the girls and post pics.

2) As an added bonus for members, you get 100% free access to a couple other sites (there’s not catch here unlike other sites that offer stuff like this), and if you stay on as a member for 2+ months, you get access to two other sites. Not bad at all.

3) There are some live cam feeds that I didn’t really spend much time in. I’m not sure that the girls show anything for free but you can chat with them at no charge.

The Membership Details

Final Thoughts

Nubiles is one of those sites that delivers more than you expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how well done this site was. Everything from the content to the navigation is top-notch and well worth the money. My two favorite things about the site were the large photos and the model Q&A’s.

The content is unique and the girls are fresh. As far as sites that specialize in content of 18 to 25 year old models go, I would have to rank Nubiles right at the top. Bravo to whoever came up with the concept for the site because it’s done just right.

This will be the first ever look inside a paysite on here. I’m quite excited, are you? No? Well I don’t blame ya. But since your here you might as well read what I have to say about the members area of FTV Girls. Click here if you would like to preview FTV Girls prior to reading my review so you get a better feel for it.

The Site

FTV Girls has been around for as long as I can remember and they feature fresh, exclusive and unique content shot by the owner of the site. They are based in Arizona so they get all the American models who are in search of fame. Most of the content features fresh young models between the ages of 18 to 25 but every now and then a model that’s 30+ gets photographed.  Most of the content is either solo or lesbian but they will be starting hardcore sex updates this year (2010). The Look Inside

I joined the site on January 25th, 2010 and it cost $29.95 for a one-month membership. A few seconds later I was inside the members area…

My initial impression was that it looked very clean and professional. Some paysites feature far to many advertisements for my liking but FTV Girls only had those 4 buttons (sized 170×44)  linking to other sites.

The Updates

The main page had a list of updates with descriptions, photo counts and video size. From looking at the archive, a new girl is added every 4 to 6 days on average. When you click on the little picture, you get taken to the update page…

From there you navigate using the menu on the right to access the videos and photos. As you can see by the picture above, this particular update had 5 different photo sets and 2 videos.

The Videos

Clicking on the first video link on the update page…

So the first thing I noticed here was that there are comments from both the model and from the photographer. Very nice touch that adds personality and gives us a more in-depth understanding of both the model and photo shoot.

This particular video update page had (6) different videos to download in .wmv (two sizes: HD or regular) and .avi format. I clicked on the HD video and got this…

That screen-grab above is of my whole desktop using a 1280×1024 screen size. The video quality is very good. It did take a little bit of time for it to buffer (around 20-30 seconds) but once it did, it played smoothly. The regular quality .wmv was about 1/3rd of the size of the HD one and played quickly. Although, after seeing the HD quality video I doubt you’ll bother with the lower quality ones. I stuck with the HD.

The Photos

Next, I went back to the update page and clicked on the first photo gallery. It took me to the gallery…

Very clean and simple. There were 81 photos in this particular gallery. All the thumbs led to big and crsip 1064×1600 full size photos [ click here for a sample ]. What I liked about the gallery was that all the photos were there on the page so you didn’t have to click to page 2, page 3, etc. I like having all the thumbs on one page because it makes things easy.

Okay, going back to the main page of the members area now. There are about 60 different updates on the main page,  When you click to page 2, there are hundreds of them (dating as far back as 2003), literally too many to count. I did notice that the old updates (2007 and before) contain full-size photos that are smaller than the present-day ones but they are still quite good quality at around 800×1200. HD videos are available for all updates after November 2007, the updates prior just contain regular .wmv quality.

The Extras

Checking out the extras, I came across “BigPics” which are only available for some of the updates. This is how the webmaster of FTV Girls describes them…

For members who want even bigger sized photos.  Warning, these images are 500-4500 kilobytes in size each.  They are directly from the original, and there are no touch-ups or modifications to these photos.  They are as photographed.

I went to download one zip that contained 45 images and it had a size of 200mb. The size of the one photo was 2848×4288. Wow! That’s massive. Here’s what a portion of it looked like, full-sized, in my photo editor…

Pretty damn cool. Wish they had these for every series.

Another thing that FTV Girls has is a message board for its members…

It’s pretty active and includes members commenting on potential models as well as previews for upcoming shoots. This gives the site a nice personal touch and allows members to talk with the photographer/owner of the site.

There is also a “sneek peek” section that includes real amateur photos of girls that are “in the works” for upcoming updates as well as updates that are almost ready to go.

One thing that appears to be happening at FTV Girls is that they will be featuring a hardcore update at the end of every month (starting January 2010). I think this will give its members a new type of content to look forward to in addition the solo, masturbation and dildo content they are known for.

Final Thoughts

I enjoyed my time inside the members area of FTV Girls. I really like the quality of their photos and videos. I can also see that the owner\photographer of the site really cares about his members and keeping quality high. In an internet filled with people just trying to make a quick buck, the work that’s put into FTV Girls has to be appreciated.

One thing that I wish the site had was streaming flash videos that are the norm these days. I’m sure they will get around to adding them soon but for now I missed having that option available to me.

FTV Girls features many different types of models. What I mean is that even though most girls are between the ages of 18 to 25, they vary on the hotness scale. Some are girl next door types, others are pornstars. While this is good for variety but, because of the fact that they only update every 4-6 days, it kind of sucks if you don’t like the latest model featured as you’ll have to wait until the next update in hopes of getting a model you find sexy.

Overall though, it’s a very well done site with quality content that you will not find at any other paysite.
