Have you ever wondered what's inside adult paysites?

I was given a username and password from the folks over at Porn Pros to do a review of their site. You’ll find my thoughts about this big network below. If you’d like to get a better feel for the site then click here to visit Porn Pros before reading the review.

The Site

Porn Pros started out with one site back in 2007 (18 Years Old). Since then they have grown to become one of the more popular networks on the internet. When 18 Years Old first launched, I had the pleasure of having a look inside and I came away quite impressed with how fresh the videos were. They’ve always shot their content in a unique and high quality way. When I received the chance to check out their current portfolio,  I was quite excited to get an updated look at what they have going on.

The Look Inside

After entering my username and password I was taken to the main members area page (photo on the left).

At the top of the page is an ad for a DVD site, then navigational menus and tabs, followed by an ad for live cam girls. After that, there are 21 big preview thumbs (230×160) for the latest updates with some more navigational menus and ads in the sidebar.

Scrolling lower, there is a section for “recent updates” that featured 25 preview thumbs (160×120), linking to updates. At the bottom of this section you can navigate to 51 different pages (as of this writing), each containing 25 update preview thumbs. Clicking on any preview thumb takes you to that specific update.

Overall I found the page busy with a little too many ads for my liking. That said, the updates are featured front and center so after you get used to the page I don’t see this being a major issue.

Porn Pros features 27 different sites and from what I could see many are still being updated on a regular basis. Updates do vary by site, with some sites being updated weekly, others bi-weekly, and others more sparingly. Overall though, there are new scenes put up daily (some days there are 2-3 new scenes added) but I did see some days where there were no updates.

Regarding the type of content you’ll find on Porn Pros, it covers a lot of bases. The two most prominent model types are 18-25 year-olds and big breasted, curvy pornstars. One thing that I’d like to point out to you is that there are some sites in the network that don’t appeal to my porn tastes at all. Specifically those that feature 1) bondage (Disgraced 18, MILF Humiliation, Squirt Disgrace, Cum Disgrace) 2) fake big cocks shooting giant “loads” (Freaks of Cock, Cumshot Surprise, LOL Cumshots) and 3) old men with coeds (Jurassic Cock). The reason I point this out is not to put down this type of content but rather to let you know that I don’t enjoy it and thus it will affect the “Personal Opinion” points in the scorecard.

In fact, out of all the sites in this network, the only regularly updates ones with content that is suited for my personal tastes are 18 Years Old, Massage Creep, Freaks of Boobs, Real Ex-Girlfriends, and Shady PI. So if you are into the mainstream, vanilla type of porn (like I am) then I think my score will hold more weight for you. If you enjoy bondage then I think you would probably give Porn Pros a higher score than I.

Okay, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let me talk about the navigation.

It’s fairly easy to move around the site. You can use the drop-down menus found at the top of every page to sort updates by site, category, and model. There is also a basic search engine where you can type in stuff like a model’s name and it spits out results. I say it’s basic because when I tried to search for “blonde” + “big tits” together it didn’t find any matches.

Now let’s dive into the content…

The Updates

From the main members area page I selected the Kody Kay update from 18 Years Old and it took me to the update page…

On this page a streaming flash player is loaded with “Part #1″ ready to stream as soon as you hit play. On the right is a thumb linking to the model’s other scenes and a quick description of this scene.

Underneath the video you are presented with all the viewing options for the video. Here’s a close-up look…

Underneath that menu are thumbs previewing each of the 8 parts. (At this point I went and checked other updates and all updates are broken up into 8 parts, fyi: you can download the full-length scene in MPG and WMV format).

To the right are links to the “High-Resolution Pictures” and “Video Screencaps”

Let’s breakdown the videos now…

The Videos

After hitting play this is what the streaming flash video looked like in my browser…

The video played instantly and was very clean and crisp. The picture size was 640×385 and if you hit the “full screen” button on the player it took over the whole screen and was still of watchable quality. However, I prefer the original embedded size because the picture is more crisp and smooth.

I then downloaded the HD MPG version of a clip and this is what it looked like on my screen…

It was really big. It did break-up a little bit while playing (when faster action was happening) but overall it was one of the better MPG downloads I’ve seen. Most sites these days focus all their effort on the streaming flash format that they tend to neglect the quality of their downloadable videos.

The WMV HD format I downloaded next was even better (with no break-up)…

I really have to give them credit for the quality of their videos. This is pretty much as good as it gets.

All updates after May 11th, 2009 feature the above quality, the downloadable videos prior to that date look like this (smaller in size but smooth and crisp in quality)…

In addition, there is also a page where you can download 1-minute clips of the scene in standard WMV format.

Now, under “Get The Video To Go”, the links to mobile formats lead to an outside site (easyburner.com), I’m not sure what that’s about as I didn’t delve deeper but I thought I’d pass that on for those of you who are looking for mobile compatible formats.

The Photos

Clicking “view all pictures” on the update page took me to the photo gallery…

Very standard and basic page where you can navigate to other pages and also download the pics in a ZIP file.

I’m not quite sure I like the way they have the image browser set up (actually I’m pretty sure I don’t like it, lol).  After you click on a thumb you get taken to a page that shows an 850×850 version of the picture. I don’t like the double clicking, I don’t like the cropping of the 850×850 sized photos and to top it off many times the 850×850 photo only loaded half-way during my visit and sometimes I received error messages when clicking over to the full-size photos (this may have been because of my connection, but I doubt it because the videos played great).

Regarding the quality of the full-size photos; it was great for certain photos and not-so-great for others. It was really a crap-shoot as to whether or not a photo would be crisp or cropped well. This was rather disappointing after the awesome quality of the videos. What I think they do is that they just put all the photos they shot into the folder without editing or picking and choosing the good ones. What I would love to see is for them to pick and choose the best photos, throw out the crappy ones, and then link the thumbs straight to the high-resolution photos. Doing this would turn the photo section into a goldmine rather than the annoyance I found it to be.

The Extras

Unfortunately Porn Pros contained no free extras that I could find. The closest thing I could see to an extra was a free $10 credit if you join a live cam site but I don’t know the details about this.

The Membership Details

Pricing: $24.95 for 30 days, $59.37 for 90 days, $1.00 for 1-day trial (please be aware that the $1.00 trial membership is limited thus you may not be able to view all the content, I’m not exactly sure what the 1-day trial here includes).

Ease of Canceling: Clicking the “Billing Support” text link at the bottom of every page takes you to their customer service page where if you click “to cancel your membership, please click here” you get taken to the cancellation form.

Final Thoughts

I mentioned earlier in this review that many of the sites in the Porn Pros Network do not appeal to me because they don’t feature the type of content I like but Porn Pros does have very unique and well shot content. Their video quality is among the best I have seen. I thoroughly enjoyed the videos shot for Massage Creep (which is the type of content I like) so if you like bondage and the other stuff they feature, I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy those videos as well.

On the negative side, the picture navigation (and selection) could use the most work, and the overall navigation and feel of the site could use an upgrade as well.

In closing, I would suggest that you browse through their site and see if you like the type of content they shoot. If you do and you think that you’ll have a good time watching their videos then I can’t see you being disappointed after all is said and done.

The Site

Reality Kings has been around, in one shape or another, since 2001. While sites like MILF Hunter and Cum Fiesta put them on the map, it is their constant ability to stay on top of the latest trends that has kept them #1 for me. Over the years I have seen many networks come and go. Some at one point were “the biggest” but they fell eventually, whether due to not keeping pace or because of shady billing practices. Reality Kings has lasted and thrived all these years because of their quality and integrity. When friends ask me what site I recommend, I always tell them that every man should join Reality Kings at least once in their life. That’s not a marketing slogan but just me giving credit where credit is due.

The Look Inside

Upon entering your username and password you get taken to the main members area page that you see on the left. This page contains all the latest updates for the network with the latest two featured prominently on top.

The site features a wide variety of mainstream porn. There are scenes dedicated to 18-year-olds, scenes dedicated to MILFs, busty girls, lesbians, latinas, curvy ebony models, and European girls. It covers many different niches but everything ties together nicely. It fascinates me how they are able to present everything in such a nice well-rounded way.

Reality Kings  is updated every single day with two fresh updates. Each site in the network has its own day of the week for updates. For instance, a new “Cum Fiesta” scene is added every Tuesday. A new “MILF Hunter” scene is added every Monday.

Some sites are on a biweekly update schedule (Big Tits Boss, First Time Auditions, Money Talks, In The VIP, and a couple others) but you still get two updates a day to the whole network as the sites rotate (ie: on Tuesday #1 a new Money Talks scene is added, on Tuesday #2 a new In The VIP scene is added, on Tuesday #3 a new Money Talks scene is added, on Tuesday #4 a new In The VIP scene is added, etc.).

The navigation of the site is very clean and simple. Maybe I’m not the best one to speak on this as I know the site inside and out but frankly I don’t see any potential navigation problems that could arise.

One thing I want to point out is that there is a drop-down menu near the top-right header which you can select to filter the updates by a specific site. So if you just want to see Pure 18 updates then just choose “Pure 18″ and it spits out only scenes shot for Pure 18. The cool thing about this is that it also changes the header graphic and slightly alters the color scheme to set a different mood. It’s a small thing but I find it neat.

The Updates

There are over 5000 updates available to you as a Reality Kings member. That’s over 5000 videos and 2,000,000 photos. The length of the full videos is between 30 to 60 minutes. All the videos are exclusive to the network.

Let’s take a look at what happens when you select an update and the options that are available…

The first thing I want you to notice are the tabs near the top (“preview, pictures, screencaps….”). I usually use those to navigate through the update.You can also navigate easily using the menu table on the right but I always seem to use the tabs.

Besides the various options, each update page contains a description of the scene and “tags” that you can click on to find more scenes with the model or scenes that are similar. There is also a comment section where users can voice their thoughts on the update. Now let’s get to the actual content…

The Videos

Reality Kings is a very well-rounded site and their videos are the cream of the crop. Clicking the “movie” tab on the update page, I’m taken to the streaming flash video…

This is called “Standard” quality and it’s big, crisp and loads in an instant. There is a thumb preview bar on the bottom which you can use to skip ahead to different parts of the video. When you do skip ahead it takes a couple seconds to buffer and away it goes. Now when you click “HD” in the top-right corner of the video you get…

…a window that opens up with a bigger flash version of the video. Again, the quality is awesome and the playback is smooth. There is no thumb preview bar like in the standard version (I don’t know why they didn’t include that) but you can still skip ahead by dragging the playback button to a different part of the video.

I usually view the videos using the “standard” playback but every now and then I view stuff in HD. Honestly, both are stunning and the “standard” is better quality than most paysites offer.

Now, if you want to download videos, you can do so by using the table menu on the right of the update page or you can click the “download” tab.

Clicking the “download” tab you get…

Here you can download the full length video in WMV or MP4 format. MP4 allows you to playback the video on mobile devices.

You can also download 1-minute clips in MPEG or WMV format as well as stream the 1-minute clips in WMV or FLASH. Clearly they have covered all the bases when it comes to the different formats a user would want. Also each 1-minute clip has a thumb preview. When I downloaded one of the MPEG clips and opened it up, it looked like this on my desktop…

That’s the standard playback size.

The WMV format looked much more spectacular. Check it out…

It was bigger, crisper and much nicer looking than the MPG. I suggest that you go with the WMV format if you are downloading the video.

Overall I found the videos to be great. The storylines were pretty cool, the quality was awesome, and the playback was very smooth.

So that is how the video portion of each update looked like. FYI: the older updates have playback in streaming WMV instead flash but all the updates after 2005 contain flash.

The Photos

I have never seen another site that specializes in videos like Reality Kings and does as good of a job with photos as they do. When I did my review of The Bang Bros Network, I mentioned that their photo quality could use some work. Reality Kings on the other hand does an awesome job with their photos.

Each update contains over 500 high quality photos. They aren’t super high-resolution photos like sites that specialize in them (like FTV Girls) but they are vibrant and enticing.     [ Click Here For A Photo Sample ]

Here is what the photo page looks like after you click the “pictures” tab in the update options…

Each scene has over 100 photos of the girl getting naked and doing solo stuff. Then there are 500+ photos of the actual scene from start to finish. You can view all the thumbs on one page if you click the “all pics” text in the top-left corner. I always like it when this option is available because you can quickly scan for the pics that you find enticing.

All the photos are available in zip format for quick downloads.

Like I wrote prior, it is rare for a site like this to standout when it comes to photos but Reality Kings definitely does stand out to me in both quality and style of photography.

The Extras

Reality Kings offers live webcam chat with four of their models. These shows run on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and are available for free to all their members. I always like it when paysites offer free chat as it adds interactivity to the site.

Final Thoughts

I may be biased because it is my favorite site and I’ve been a member for years but I don’t really see any fault with their members area. Everything is just as it should be. All the content is exclusive. New updates are added daily. The video quality is amazing. The photo quality is fantastic.

What amazes me is that even though there are many niches in this network and many different types of girls, I still find 90% of their models sexually attractive. Whatever system they have for selecting models, it just works for me. I love the variety they offer while keeping away from the “weird” stuff like BDSM and peeing (that type of content just doesn’t appeal to me).

So yeah, the simple conclusion is… this is my favorite site for videos and has been for many years.

The Site

The people behind Bang Bros are one of the godfathers of reality porn. In fact, their website Bang Bus is probably the most famous adult site of all-time. The network consists of a variety of sites with a big focus on big breasted models and ones with curvy asses. All the videos have a pro-am feel to them but still maintain awesome quality. Take a look below to see what I thought of their members area.

The Look Inside

The photo on the left is a screen grab of how the front page of their members area looked on January 29th, 2010.

The three latest updates are presented with big images right at the top. Then there are some small thumb ads for “live cam girls”  and to the right of those is a link to chat with their secretary (more on that a little later on in this post).

Below that are 28 thumbs leading to the next 28 latest updates. At the bottom of the page there is a big “click here for all updates” text link. Clicking that takes you to 28 thumbs previewing each update and you just keep going if you want to see more updates.

Looking at their update frequency, they add 2 or 3 updates every single day. I bet they have 3 or 4 film crews shooting new stuff every day of the  week in order to facilitate this much content. Everything is exclusive and can’t be found inside any other paysite.

The navigation is pretty good as I found it very easy to get around the site. Overall my impression of the members area was that it was very clean and simple to find what you are looking for.

The Updates

When I clicked on an update thumb I was taken to the update page…

The Videos

On that page there were 12 thumb previews of what the update looks like and a menu below where you can make your selection. I clicked the “play this full movie” link and it took me to the video page…

That page had streaming flash version of the video. The quality of this video was super crisp and it loaded very fast. This particular video was 34:22 minutes long and when I wanted to skip ahead to any part of the video, it buffered in an instant and played smoothly from the point I selected. Very nice.

This was the “High Quality” version. There was also a link below the video that said “Madman”. Bang Bros had the following text blow this option…

High-Definition 1200 resolution for you quality whores

hahaha. Take a look at what that looked like on my screen…

Massive! And guess what? It was just as crisp and smooth as the regular high quality video. This is basically a TV quality picture, and by TV quality I mean new-age TV’s not ones from back in the tube days.

So I bet some of you are saying, “That’s great, but I want to download the stuff so I can wack to it until the end of time”. They have that option too. When you click on “Download Big Clips” or “Download Small Clips” you get taken to…

From here you can download or stream clips in WMV or MPEG  format. You can also download the full movie in WMV format.

In addition to downloading the full movie via one clip, this update had 4 big clips that were about 8 minutes in length and 34 small clips, a little over a minute in length each.

The Photos

They have two different styles of photos per each update: 1) Pictures 2) Screecaps. Clicking on pictures you get…

That’s a page of thumbs that are 150×100 and link to a page that contains the full size photo. The full-size photos are a little small for my liking at 531×800 but one good thing about it is that the full photo fits in the browser so you don’t have to scroll down (I guess, lol). Selecting “screencaps”  takes you to the same type of page only with photos taken from the video itself… [ Screencap Sample ] There are about 5x as many screencaps as there are photos for each update (a few updates here and there just contain screencaps, not photos).

One thing that I wish they had was the option to view all thumbs on one page without having to scroll through 20+ pages of thumbs.

So clearly, when it comes to photos, it’s not the place where Bang Bros shines. But that’s to be expected when it comes to these massive video sites. Only a few of them really standout in the photo category as well. Bang Bros’ bread and butter are the videos and that’s the main reason for which you should join this site.

The Extras

Now that I’ve gone over the details of one update (there are thousands of them), I’ll share the other stuff that Bang Bros offers.

Remember at the beginning of this post where I mentioned that you can chat with their secretary? Well clicking on that gives you this screen…

I have no clue as to how many secretaries they employ but there are different girls in there at different times of the day. This is a free live cam chat for all members and the girl gets totally naked and shows everything. I think this is an awesome “extra” for members. It always gives members something new to enjoy when waiting between updates. Love it.

Another thing that I liked about Bang Bros is their navigation (I mentioned this prior but I’ll go more in detail about it here).

If you want to see updates from a specific network site there is a drop down menu at the top of each page…

So, say you only want to see updates from “Big Tits, Round Asses” you select that, hit “go” and you get…

… a page with just those updates. This is great if you want to find a specific niche.

Their search engine is quite good too where you can choose your parameters like “enhanced tits” and “latina” and it spits out updates that match your criteria.

At the bottom of each update are thumbs of the model(s) featured in that update. These thumbs link to her page which lists every update she has appeared in on the site. Very nice.

So overall, I don’t think you’ll have any problems finding your way around the site.

There is a “Girlfriend Submissions” section to the members area too but I couldn’t get it to work. I don’t know if it’s just me or if there is a bug at the time of this writing but that would have been interesting to check out as the preview thumbs looks enticing.

Final Thoughts

I loved the videos. If you’re a fan of high quality hardcore videos then Bang Bros will not disappoint you. The smoothness and crispness of the videos is as good as it gets in this day and age.

If you’re just looking for high quality photos, then I don’t think you’ll like this site much. The photos are there but they are more of an “extra” rather than the featured attraction (like they are for sites that specialize in photos). Bang Bros is all about the videos, in my humble opinion.

There’s thousands of updates and a vast variety of girls. There’s many pornstars as well as girls that I’ve never seen before. Lots of Brazilian and Latina models too. I’ve noticed that they have more than their share of big breasted (both natural and with fake tits)  models. Lots of big curvy asses too. But they also have a large selection of “girl next door” types.  Overall, it’s a great variety of models and based on the sheer number of updates there’s more than enough of whatever you’re looking for.
